Measurement: L 57 cm x W 49 cm x H 78 cm

Design Concept: In the folklores, guardian beasts are often blessed with the special power that fends off evil and wards off demonic creatures. Even till today, we could still find gargoyles and statues on top of buildings in Europe that reiterate this tradition. Being inspired by this mystic and powerful force, I want to render the details of its strength and beauty through the proprietary features of wood in this woodwork piece. This project was showcased in 2012 Wood Seating Joint Exhibition in Taiwan.
